David Rouse classical guitar for sale

David Rouse Cedar Brazilian Rosewood 640

David Rouse Cedar Brazilian Rosewood 640mm scale

David began his guitar making career in 1991 and since then has continued to refine and develop the guitars he produces, concentrating not only on the tone but also the balance and separation of the notes.

The guitar has a Cedar top, Brazilian Rosewood back and sides and is based on the Torres dimensions of the FE13 design as in the first edition of Romanillos's book, with extra inlays in Bird's Eye Maple which the customer required to make the guitar unique.  It also retains its original Robson high quality tuning machines.  the nut width is standard and the 640mm scale length and smaller body combine to make this a very comfortable guitar to hold and play, especially for someone with reach issues.  The guitar is in good condition for its age, with the soundboard having evidence of wear on the upper side of the lower bout.  A small crack on the soundboard has been repaired and as it it virtually adjacent to the rib purfling will have no influence on the sound of the guitar, which is warm with a very clear separation of notes and excellent balance across the strings.
