Jake Fuller Spruce Indian Rosewood 650

Jake Fuller has been crafting high quality guitars in his Reydon workshop in Suffolk for many years now, developing and perfecting his art.  Based primarily on the Torres bracing pattern, Jake has introduced several modifications, whilst still following his most important guideline regarding the tone of the guitar, which has to show the largest tonal range.  Beyond that he makes playability, workmanship and aesthetics his key aims.  As his guitars are made without the use of jigs, using only a Solera, this allows him to make minor adjustments to the guitar during construction as the wood suggests.  All his guitars carry the Purnell name in honour of his grandfather, who first excited his interest in working with wood. 

The guitar was made in 2014 and has a Spruce top and book-matched Maple back and sides.  Overall the guitar is in very good condition with some evidence of play wear in oblique light.  The scale length is standard 650mm as is the nut width at 52mm.  The guitar is easy to play as the previous owner set the action quite low which makes barre chords easier.  The tonality is quite bright as one would expect from a Maple guitar with a good balance across the strings.   This is a fine guitar for an experienced player.
